Since day one of the Affordable Care Act (Obama Care), Republicans campaigned to repeal it. One of President Trump’s repeated campaign promises was that he would repeal and replace Obama Care on day one. It’s a topic of heated debate in the public eye and a key interest for the circles I work in. As an Employee Benefits Consultant, I get asked every week from friends and clients, “What is going to happen to Obama Care?” Honestly, I don’t know for sure. Despite all my research, I cannot say with certainty what the Affordable Care Act (ACA) replacement will be.
I will say this: Repealing and replacing ACA will be a difficult endeavor. Repealing it outright will take away health insurance from millions of people. However, doing nothing would be a broken promise. I believe either
