Comprehensive COBRA Administration

PWA COBRA/RELiance provides administrative and clerical  functions related to a client's compliance with Health Care Coverage Continuation provisions of the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 (COBRA).

In consideration for our fees, PWA COBRA/RELiance performs the following administrative and clerical functions:

• Producing and mailing the initial company-wide COBRA notice to all employees

• Sending of required notices to Principal Qualified Beneficiaries (PQBs), once instructed to do so by Client within 3 working days.

• Communicating with PQBs by whatever means regarding COBRA coverage

• Billing and Collecting Premiums – PWA COBRA/RELiance forwards COBRA premiums and reports to clients prior to the 10th of the month.

• Reporting Premiums to Client and remitting premiums received to Client or Carrier

• Reporting enrollees to Client

• Reporting terminations to Client

• Communicate additions and terminations to Client’s insurer or Benefit Plan Administrator.

• HIPAA Certificate of Credible Coverage
